You and me

...you and me
Feeling you
In the hues of the day
Feeling you
In the peace of the night
Feeling you
In the cool breeze of the yet summer sun
Feeling you
In aromas that rains create
Feeling you
In the beauty called nature
Feeling you
In the moon,in the stars,in the sky
Feeling you
In defining happiness
In living your will
Feeling you
In percieving success
In losing myself to you
Feeling you
In blessings endless,my way
Feeling you
In saying Alhamdulillah
Feeling you
In the melody of 'THE Book'
Feeling you
In your love that 'll never die
Feeling you
In eyes that dream,in things-to-be
Feeling you
In prayers silent of the heart
Feeling you
In appreciating pain
Feeling you
In love,in peace,in joy
Feeling you
In smiles innocent they stole
Feeling you
In wonder if ever can they return
Feeling you
In spaces time creates
Feeling you
In not being able to bridge 'em again
Feeling you
In questions unanswered
Feeling you
In the miracle called life
Feeling you
In the tick of the clock
Feeling you
In the journey towards you
Feeling you
In the heart that asks you if it can beat
Feeling you
In the tales that from you,seek their end
Feeling you
In endurance,in haste
Feeling you
In solitude and in a crowd
Feeling you
In your love called parents
Feeling you
In the angels called pals
Feeling you
In the mirrors called siblings
Just their thought and I thank you
Just their name and I smile
Just their presence and I live
Feeling you

Here,there,everywhere
In everything nice and otherwise
It is your love my Lord,that flows through my eyes.

but the sight of the stars makes me dream...

her dreams all ,yeah she locked 'em safe
in a shell - mystical yet enticing , delicate
wherein is a world unseen
day in-day out,that her imaginations did create

no,its not the castles lovely that she craves
neither for the stars is she game
eyes all set on the gardens promised
success sublime now is her only aim

all that goes up has a way down
this world is well so transient,she knows
her will to win will go not in vain
patience one day surely 'll pay,she believes

its beautiful to be two,they say
holding hands may not be enough
help her make it to the place,will he?
where they say are forever smiles

prayers silent of her heart
wishing for just one wish her way
asking her Lord help her stand firm
in trying times,on tough lanes,come what may

all she has , is her Lord's word
with Him on her side,her life she happily 'll stake
to see that very dream come true
when she opens her eyes in the life next..

Sometimes kids teach us many things about life.
As part of Accenture's CSR visit to a school for the underprivileged, many games were played and gifts distributed. In a game which required using only the right hand to play, one small boy sportively came forward playing with his left hand as he had a wound on his right. He was among the 2 final winners. We were astonished and I outta curiosity asked him, how he easily did well with his left hand. Making a fist, he replied: "Kaanfidence madam"!

Ever heard a man say :
"I was so frightened that I ran to my wife!"
Well,for those of you who haven't,here it goes....
<======================================================>
.......As a young boy,Prophet Muhammad, Allah's peace be upon him and his pure progeny,travelled with his uncle in the merchants' caravan to Syria,and some years afterwards made the same journey in the service of a wealthy  widow named Khadijah.So faithfully did he transact the  wealthy and beautiful lady's  business,and so excellent was the report of his behaviour which she recieved from her old servant who had accompanied him,that soon afterwards she married her young agent;the marriage proved a very happy one,though she was fifteen years older than he was.
        It was his practice to retire with his family for a month of every year  to a cave in the desert for meditation.His place of retreat was Hira,a desert hill, and his chosen month was Ramadan,the month of heat.It was there one night toward the end of this quiet month that the first revelation came to him when he was forty years old.He was asleep or in a trance when he heard a voice say:"Read!" He said: "I cannot read." The voice once again said: "Read!" He said: "I cannot read." A third time the voice,more terrible,commanded: "Read!" He said: "What can I read?"
The voice said :
" Read:In the name of thy Lord Who createth."
 " Createth man from a clot."
 " Read:And it is thy Lord the Most Bountiful"
 " Who teacheth by the pen,"
 "Teacheth man that which he knew not "
         When he awoke the words remained "as if inscribed upon his heart".
Muhammad,peace be upon him,stood quite still,turning away his face from the brightness of the vision,but whithersoever he might turn his face,there always stood the angel confronting him.He remained thus a long while till at length the angel vanished.Muhammad (pbuh) went back home heavy-hearted, profoundly perplexed, deeply impressed by the sight of arch-angel Gabriel and by the depth of meaning implied in those beautiful words.
The early biographers tell how he returned in great distress of mind to his wife Khadijah and how she did her best to reassure him,saying that his conduct had been such that Allah would not let a harmful spirit come to him and that it was her hope that he was to become the Prophet of his people.
Prophet Muhammad,peace be upon him,a man of humble and devout intelligence,a lover of quiet and solitude,that he was,at the first, was appalled by the very thought of being chosen out of all mankind,alone,with such a Message.Recognition of the Divine nature of the call he had recieved involved a change in his whole mental outlook sufficiently disturbing to a sensitive and honest mind.It is also reported, Prophet Muhammad ,Peace Be Upon Him,saying:
" I was so frightened that I ran to my wife! ".....................................
<=====================================================>
Now am sure,you must be wondering what on earth is this lady upto! What does she wish to convey by quoting well known facts from history?
Well,I have been reading,for more than half a decade,different phases of Prophet Muhammad's(peace be upon him ) life and the way he treated 'em all.
And except for the last line, the above four verbose paragraphs are not a jot or tittle,of my interest,as far as my current post is concerned.
         Yes,the last line! It never fails to fascinate me,never fails to amaze me;it will never do.
Every single time I come across it,I am only left wondering if there exists any soul on this planet,in our times,who would actually use such a line for his/her consort.
=======================================================
Due to her impeccable personality and virtuous character,Khadija [Allah be pleased with her] earned two titles:
 Princess of Quraysh and  the Pure One.
        Throughout the twenty-six years of their life together the Prophet,peace be upon him, remained devoted to his first wife;and after her death,when he took other wives he always mentioned her with the greatest love and reverence.
He used to talk about Khadija quite often after her demise, so much so that his youngest wife, `Ayesha daughter of Abu Bakr, felt extremely jealous and once said to him:
       "... But she was only an old woman with red eyes, and Allah has compensated you with a better and younger wife (meaning herself)."
This caused him to be very indignant, and he said:
        "No, indeed; He has not compensated me with someone better than her. She believed in me when all others disbelieved; she held me truthful when others called me a liar; she sheltered me when others abandoned me; she comforted me when others shunned me;"
=======================================================
This may seem to us just as a prophet's part of the story;
-->the prophet who was sent to guide mankind from darkness towards light;
-->the prophet who as just another human being was gifted with as many physical and mental powers ,as his followers do.
Implies,
~we are that mankind in darkness [supposed to be] yearning for light;
~we CAN do what all he could do and did,no super powers needed;

Does it still remain the Prophet's[peace be upon him] part of the story?
"And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your hearts.  Verily in that are signs for those who reflect."
---The Book
Love and mercy between strangers?Truly signs of Our Lord,the Magnificent!
       The Qur'an-E-Kareem describes the divine ordinance as a bond which involves "tranquility," "love" and "mercy." Elsewhere in the same, husband and wife are described as "garments" for each other.Above all, the "garment of God-consciousness" is described as the best garment.
The word "garments" ,in the Quran-E-Kareem,has been used as a simile to resemble,to compare the purpose garments serve with the rapport one shares with his/her better half.One does not require any effort to comprehend the significance of a garment.
Garments offer protection, comfort, modesty, and warmth.
In a truly Muslim commitment, partners  respect each other;put  complete trust in each other;they care for each other;
they are kind to each other; protect each other ;hide each other's faults.
Like gentle flowers tied together make a bouquet turning 'em even more beautiful,respect,trust,tolerance clustered is love.
Not much of revealing of my ideas here,but wonder,does the clichéd line offer the same amounts of amaze anyone as  it does to me?
Before readers out there start speculating over my experience in this regard [hope atleast none of the profile visitors do that :P],let me wind-up with my fav quote by Amy Bloom:

--Love at first sight is easy to understand; it's when two people have   been looking at each other for a lifetime that it becomes a miracle.
